I had a client call me up the other day and leave a very excited voicemail.
Let me tell you about it…
Testimonials:
“I just wanted to say thank you for your help with the latest press release. I am so impressed with the quality and workmanship of your work. The last press release was picked up by NBC News and they asked me for a comment regarding the subject matter.”
Jerry Garrity
First Statewide Realty
“Thanks again for all your help and please if you know someone on the fence about your services I would love to talk with them. I am a believer!”
Trace Lee
“Kevin, thanks for your help on our new website, without you, our site would have never attained the prominence it has. Your work for us was infinitely more productive than others we attempted to use before we found you. By using you, we have secured better positioning through your SEO enhancements and have much more sophisticated IDX presentation formats than the competition; we have just been absolutely elated about the results your work has produced for us. The only regret I have is that we didn’t find you sooner, although we can’t change the past, I shudder to think about how much business we lost by wasting time with other services before we found you. Thanks for all the hard work, and I only hope our competition does not find you.”
Harold and Larysa Koehler
“One of the agents in my office said to me the other day she wanted to talk to me about my website. ‘Why?’ I asked her. She said, ‘Because you are all over the search engines!’”
Carol Lee
“Thank you so much, you are great! I attended a CE class this week and showed my new web site to the classroom–it is very impressive. Good job!”
Shelly Hu
“Virtual Homes Real Estate operates over 600 websites and has been a leading Internet marketer since 2000. Many of our sites have achieved Google front page placement for multiple key word searches. In this highly competitive world of online marketing, we wanted to take it to the next level.
“We have worked with a number of ‘SEO experts’ over the years. Most of them only understand the basics of SEO. We were fortunate to find Kevin Harper who offered to evaluate our current search engine positioning and strategy. Since we have extensive experience in this field ourselves (in fact we provide coaching to real estate agents and lenders at the beginner level) it was easy for us to understand Kevin’s experience and knowledge on the subject.
“Kevin Harper is the most knowledgeable SEO consultant we have worked with. I know of only a few that truly understand the SEO process and can deliver results. You will find Kevin to be accessible, responsive and sincerely interested in providing extremely valuable services for your business.”

“Kevin Harper has been a valuable resource for real estate marketing and finding the right IDX solution. Marketing today is SEM, SEO. It’s hard enough finding a competent and knowledgeable SEO/SEM consultant, it’s even more difficult finding one that specializes in the industry you specifically work in. He is also someone that I think will give you the honest answers, even if the answers may have a negative impact to him financially. Not only is he competent, but he also has a lot of integrity.”
Ted Takai
Vesta Pacific Properties
“Hi Kevin, just want to send a quick note to express my satisfaction with the press release that was done for my specific area. The press release has turned out to be more beneficial than expected and has given my site a terrific boost. I will definitely be doing more as we enter a new year. Thanks again for a great job!”
Raphael Guerin
“I can credit numerous sales last year alone JUST from my site, because of Kevin & the things he has implemented and taught me!”
Don Wixom
“You’ve done incredibly well in getting my site moving in the right direction. I am amazed at the number of visits my site is getting in Google analytics.”

“Kevin, you must not charge near enough for your services… [censored] charges a fortune for SEO work!”

“I would not give this site back for 5x the amount it cost me to get going! Kevin does an amazing job building, hosting and coaching my on-line business!”
Don Wixom
“Kevin has been a great friend and an invaluable asset to me growing my online presence through his SEO resources. His knowledge and friendship have contributed to my growing success as a Realtor in S.E. Idaho. I can’t recommend his services highly enough!”

“I am going to give your info to a close friend of mine who wants a site done. I got 2 clients today right after you sent me the email with the site #1 on Google News…one in Toronto, Canada and the other in Sarasota.”

I was in a meeting with a client going over SEO strategies for his website when another client left me a very excited voicemail.
He said he had some great news, and insisted I needed to call him right back.
It turns out that he was right to be excited. The press release I’d written for him a few days prior had led to a phone call from none other than the Wall Street Journal!
He was going to be interviewed for an article about property management in which he would be quoted as an expert in his area.
Now that’s the kind of phone call you like to get!
So how would you like to be interviewed for a Wall Street Journal article?
I’ll get to that in a minute…believe me, it’s not as far fetched as you think it is!
When you’re interviewed by the WSJ or any third party publication (the bigger the better, of course), you get to come off as a complete expert in your field in front of a huge audience of well-off business people.
That’s pretty valuable. So valuable, in fact, that I have had my clients get new clients within hours of publishing a press release. That’s not even an article that was published in the media, that’s just a press release.
Imagine the power of getting your message out to publications like the WSJ or your local newspaper.
Well, I’ve had my stories and press releases make it into not just the Wall Street Journal before, but the Los Angeles Times, L.A. Business Journal, Architectural Record, OC Architect, O.C. Business Journal, Orange County Register, and many more.
No, not every press release or pitch generates a phone call. But the marketing impact of a well-written release lives on FOREVER.
Let me explain.
I got started writing press releases and pitching stories to news publications when I was a young architect with a growing passion for business development rather than the technical side of the profession.
I had fun as an architect, but after several years of technical work in the profession, I really wanted something more. I wanted to grow the business. I wanted to prove my value as an employee, and to add to our bottom line.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I feel blessed that I got to work on some pretty cool projects. I worked on the major Hollywood and L.A. area film studio lots, including Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros., CBS Studio Center, Raleigh Manhattan Beach Studios, L.A. Center Studios, and many more.
But I made a conscious decision to carve out a niche for myself in the company I was working for as a marketing guy. If I could handle my architect duties and still visibly bring in new business, I could get a promotion from my architect position to a marketing and public relations role.
So I got the big idea to approach the Wall Street Journal.
I came up with a story idea. Our small company could lend its expertise to a reporter to write this great story if I could just find a reporter interested in it.
So that’s what I set out to do.
I thought about different angles for the story.
I prepared a press release.
I prepared some expert-sounding quotes from my boss ahead of time.
I emailed the news desk.
Then I left a voicemail for an editor.
Fast forward a week or two.
I still remember the day I got the phone call.
I was leaving a construction meeting for project on the CBS Studio Center lot when I got a call like the one my client received the other day.
It was a Wall Street Journal editor saying he was passing my story idea onto one of his reporters to write about it.
That reporter called back and wanted to interview the president of our company, along with several of our clients. Our clients LOVED it because they got some added publicity as well.
You can bet the our president loved it. It was VERY exciting to get national mass media attention like that.
And you have NO IDEA how much it changed things.
It helped launch the company into international visibility in our niche.
We started getting phone calls from industry executives and investors who would have never taken our small firm seriously just a month before.
My boss, the principal of the design firm, was thrilled, and best of all, of course, I got the raise I was looking for!
So what does this have to do with you in real estate sales, lending, or property management?
Well, I’ve taken my passion for this to the real estate industry. I’ve been developing real estate websites and doing SEO for some great clients for over five years now, and I’ve been expanding my press release writing and distribution network during that time.
I have personal contacts with reporters, and my press releases hit the Internet in a big way.
They are high quality, not the garbage turned out by spammers that aren’t even meant for humans to read.
My releases are also awesome for SEO. They are syndicated to over 60 of my own personal news sites and blogs, plus they get picked up by thousands more through other distribution channels.
I include up to three anchor text backlinks to your website in the body of my press releases. Occasionally, I can throw in a fourth link, and I always have room to embed a video if you have one. That’s a lot of coverage.
Here’s what goes into the writing of these press releases. I write the headline and the body of the release with several main things in mind:
- I make you sound like the expert that you are
A press release is a chance for you to say things about your market in an authoritative way. It builds credibility big-time. - Powerfull SEO
This is key, because press releases stay out on the Internet forever. You want them to point backlinks to your site so you can boost your website’s rankings. - Grab the interest of reporters
You want to grab the attention of the reporters who write articles for publications that will increase your prestige and cause prospective clients to give you a call.
If you don’t think your real estate business has anything newsworthy to offer the world, you’re flat out wrong.
I’ll find something to write about. You don’t have to do anything other than talk to me on the phone or send me an email about your business, market, and expertise.
I’ll do all the work of finding a topic, writing about it, and making you look good.
You don’t even have to think of any quotes. I’ll write your quotes, and you simply approve or edit them.
I have a good sense for how to turn commonplace information into something potentially newsworthy, so don’t worry about that.
I’ve done it before, and I want to do it for you.
How much does this cost?
Well, hiring a big PR firm is expensive. My clients are mostly smaller businesses of one to 15 agents.
Traditional PR firms are priced out of reach to small businesses like this, with big retainers of many thousands of dollars just to walk in the door. And that’s not including all the hourly charges after that…time spent on the phone, time in meetings brainstorming strategies, time and money spent out to lunch on your dime…you get the picture.
What I do is different. I have turned my PR services into an easy to understand package. I write a fixed number of press releases for you and distribute them widely on the Internet to news sites, blogs, and places where reporters hang out.
You pay me a fixed fee. That’s it. No retainer, no extra expenses, no hourly fees to tack on.
I don’t want to nickel and dime you to death. Let’s just create a package that is easily understandable and let me go to work bringing in new business for you.
My PR work is not a flash in the pan of value. A press release launched today can bring in clients for years down the road. If it turns into a writeup in a major publication like the WSJ, it has even more of a payoff.
My press releases maintain lasting value for years to come for your business, because:
1. They stay online forever with anchor text backlinks to help your website rank better.
2. They portray you as the expert in your field.
3. They can be reprinted in your listing presentation packages and on your website for a great sales impact.
4. My press releases get results. I had a client in South Florida get two new clients in the same day as a result of a press release. Other clients have gotten calls from the media. Still more had their press releases picked up for free by news sites and remain online to this day.
In short, my press releases tell your future clients the story you want to tell them.
My PR work has generated responses from:
- NBC
- ABC
- Wall Street Journal
- Architectural Record
- Spokane REALTOR®
- Los Angeles Times
- Orange County Register
- Building Design and Construction
- Daily Variety / International Variety
- Hollywood Reporter
- Yuma Sun
- Budapest Times (yes, that's right)
The first 10 agents who commit to a three month campaign of one press release per month, I’ll do it for $1500, so you save $1500! If you pay for an entire year, I’ll do it for $6000, PLUS I’ll throw in a bunch of extras. Check down at the bottom of this page for a full list, which includes 3600 backlinks for the year.
That’s some powerful SEO, and at only $500 each, you can be done with an entire year’s worth of press release marketing TODAY.
Sound expensive? My client who got interviewed by the Wall Street Journal doesn’t think so. He just hired me for a a full year campaign, because it is paying off big time.
One new deal for you as a result of my press release campaign will pay for it and more.
Press releases, when done right, get results. They add dollars to your bottom line. They are an investment in the growth of your business.
To use the language of Robert Kyosaki, they are an asset, not a liability. They put money in your pocket through both intangibles like added prestige and credibility, and tangibles like introducing you to new clients.
I’m not promising the media will ring the phone off the hook, but I am saying that most press release writers, sadly, will not. I have a track record, and I work hard for my clients.

$1500 is for a three month campaign. $6000 is for a full year, a discount of $6000 off my regular price for these. Plus you get a boatload of extra blog backlinks.
That amounts to only $500 each for topic development, copywriting, AND distribution.
Some press release distribution channels cost over $500 per release JUST for distribution, and that doesn’t include coming up with the idea and writing about it. Because I distribute a high volume of press releases, I get lower prices, so your dollar goes further.
Signing up today is risk free.Just pay now and we’ll set up an appointment to talk. If after our conversation you decide it’s not for you, I’ll immediately refund it 100%, no questions asked.
But it’s important that you sign up now, because the email announcement went out to my newsletter of over 3500 real estate agents.
I don’t have the bandwidth to take on more than 10 new clients, so when I’ve sold 10 of these packages, I’ll have to pull it down, probably until Spring of 2012.
I take a lot of time to get to know you and your business so I can write quality copy.
So here’s your chance. Please do yourself a favor and take advantage of it.
My press release campaign will give your real estate business:
- Added credibility
- Better website rankings
- Potential media coverage
- Exposure to far more potential clients than you could EVER get through traditional advertising methods
And you’ll get all that for FAR less money than traditional advertising or PR firms.
Here are just a few of the things I can let the world know you’re an expert on. You tell me what you’re an expert on, I’ll write about it:
- Short sales
- Foreclosures
- Condos
- Lofts
- Commercial real estate
- Waterfront property
- A specific subdivision
- A specific city
- Selling a home fast
- Cash flow real estate investing
- Property management
You tell me what your interests and experience are and what your market is, and I’ll do the rest.
It’s that simple. And I’ll make you this guarantee.
If you are not 100% convinced this is right four you after our phone strategy session, I’ll refund your money no questions asked.
